After 6 years of fallout, Ekta Kapoor breaks ice with Rohit Shetty; congratulates him for Simmba's success - view pic

With the super success of Simmba, filmmaker Rohit Shetty has once again proved that he is a mass entertainer. He perfectly knows what the audience wants and what to deliver to them. Since the film's release, many celebs from the entertainment industry congratulated the filmmaker for delivering the blockbuster and the latest one to join the list is television queen and filmmaker Ekta Kapoor. The 43-year-old personality shared the picture with Rohit Shetty on her Twitter account and congratulated him writing, "Saw #Simmba! Loved it! Seen this man I call brother thru all his milestones...from his first Golmaal and his sons birth...had tiffs with him n still loveeee him !! To a man who is lionhearted roar away my loveeeeeee!!! #RohitShetty" [sic].

This congratulatory message came as a surprise to us as the duo had a huge fallout in 2013, when they were battling at the box office with their films Chennai Express and Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara! Ultimately, the clash didn't happen but Ekta's production venture featuring Akshay failed to impress the audience, on the other hand, Rohit Shetty's family entertainer starring SRK was a huge box office winner.

But after 6 years, we see both the filmmakers smiling together and we guess that they have buried their hatchets. So can we see them collaborating soon for a new Bollywood project? On their professional fronts, Ekta Kapoor's next production venture featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha is set to hit the screens this year. Coming to Rohit Shetty, the director will soon start the shooting for Sooryavanshi with Khiladi Akshay Kumar.
