Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0 released on Thursday and have already managed to create a lot of records. The recent one being that of topping the UAE box office chart in its opening weekend itself. By earning $2,504,642 (Rs 17.70 cr) in the first four days, it not only clinched the top spot but left Sylvester Stallone's Creed 2 behind as well. Both the films released around the same time and 2.0 has managed to beat it. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the numbers on his Twitter account which makes it evident that the sci-fi film has managed to win over the UAE audience in more ways than one.

2.0 is taking giant strides at the box office and we are talking about the dubbed Hindi version here. Last time a film left everyone zapped with its humongous collections was the 2015 release, Baahubali: The Beginning. The latter's Hindi version was the first of its kind to make over Rs 100 crore at the box office. The sequel managed to go past that in a few days and now 2.0 has earned more than what Baahubali: The Beginning did. The Prabhas-starrer had made Rs 118.7 crore. 2.0 has already earned Rs 132 crore. It is now the second highest grossing dubbed Hindi film after Baahubali 2 which has amassed a mammoth Rs 500 crore and more.
