In a short span of time, Sushant Singh Rajput has showcased his acting prowess and bowled us over with it. We have seen very few actors from television making it big in Bollywood and SSR is definitely one of them. His pilgrimage love story Kedarnath has hit the screens today and is already garnering rave reviews from the audience and critics alike. While Kedarnath is the only release of the MS Dhoni star in 2018, you will be amazed to know that he has as many as five films in his kitty, which will hit the screens in 2019. Sonchiriya
The rustic drama revolves around Chambal dacoits and is set in the 1970s. This will be the first time Sushant and Bhumi will be seen starring together. The film had been directed by Abhishek Chaubey, who had earlier helmed films like Udta Punjab, Dedh Ishqiya and Ishqiya. It also stars Manoj Bajpayee and Ranvir Shorey in pivotal roles and is set to hit the screens on February 2. 2019.
Kizie Aur Manny
The romantic drama is the official remake of the Hollywood blockbuster, The Fault In Our Stars and marks the directorial debut of ace casting director Mukesh Chhabra. It features debutant Sanjana Sanghi opposite SSR.
Chhichhore
After the humongous success of Dangal, director Nitesh Tiwari has collaborated with SSR for Chhichhore which is set in an engineering college. Also featuring Shraddha Kapoor, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Tushar Pandey, Varun Sharma and Naveen Polishety in pivotal roles, the film is set to hit the screens on August 30, 2019.
Drive
Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez-starrer Drive was expected to release this year but for some unknown reasons, it has been pushed to 2019. The film is expected to be a gripping pacy affair about car racing and is directed by Dostana director, Tarun Mansukhani. It is produced by Karan Johar under his banner, Dharma Productions.
Chanda Mama Door Ke
Sushant Singh Rajput and R Madhavan-starrer Chanda Mama Door Ke is a space adventure, which is expected to be the first Bollywood film to explore the space genre. While there are rumours that it has been shelved, the makers have not cleared the status of the film.
