It has been a great December for Marvel fans. Not only was MCU fandom treated to a heartbreaking trailer of Avengers: Endgame, but December 2018 also stood witness to the release of Captain Marvel s second trailer. The Brie Larson starrer will be the first female superhero movie from the Marvel Studios and it has already generated a lot of buzz. Fans have showered the two previously released trailers with a lot of love and we were hoping that the new TV spot released on the occasion of Christmas would keep the momentum going.
However, fans were a little bummed by the trailer released on the holiday. Marvel dropped a short clip featuring Captain Marvel and fans pulled out their detective glasses to analyze new spoilers. However, the new TV spot offered almost nothing new. The clip holds moments which have already been seen in the first and second trailer.

While it is disappointing to see no new footage, we re still very excited about Captain Marvel s release. The Marvel movie sees Brie suit up and features in war scenes, fly aircraft and fight atop trains in the movie. That s not all. Judging by the trailer, the superhero will also dig into her roots to understand how she became the superhero she is today.
The trailer also promises some laughs courtesy Samuel L Jackson, another Avengers character whose background story will be touched upon in the Marvel movie. Nick Furry, Samuel s character in the MCU, teased the introduction of Captain Marvel in the Avengers: Infinity War s post-credits scene.
The superhero could play a crucial part in Avengers: Endgame. Captain Marvel releases on March 8 whereas Avengers: Endgame is releasing on April 26, 2019.
