It is safe to say that we are living in the era of Ranveer Singh. The actor who is still basking in the Simmba glow and its roaring run at the box office is all game for audiences to see him in a new avatar in Zoya Akhtar directorial's Gully Boy which also features Alia Bhatt in lead role. Like the names we mentioned are not enough, the trailer packed a powerful punch with thumping beats and resounding rap in Ranveer's baritone and we are floored. So much so that Twitter has been meme'ing every scene from the sneak peek and hey, we are not complaining.
Of course, fans couldn't stop talking about it when it dropped. Even celebrities like Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana and Katrina Kaif heaved praises about it for obvious reasons. But they aren't the only ones, even Deepika Padukone loves the entire vibe of Gulluy Boy and her man. How do we know that? Cause Ranveer said so himself recently. When asked what was DP's reaction he said, "Teaser dekha toh unko bahut pasand aaya. She loved the teaser and she is very proud of me." Not just that, he also let out that Zoya has edited the preview herself. "It was a very normal approach, Zoya (Akhtar, director) ne khud apne haathon se kata hai," he added. Watch the video here.

Earlier, he had spilled beans on what he likes about his wifey DP and had said, "She is so gharelu...I love it...I love it." He had also proclaimed, "I am going to be the husband of the millennium. I am going to glide and breeze through it." Honestly, we don't doubt that one bit.
