See how quickly things in Paris' world changes?

Hilton's debut documentary being screened at Toronto fest
Socialite heiress Paris Hilton is taking her amateur film Paris, Not France to the big screen at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The film that has been billed as a behind-the-scenes look at her life is due to premiere at the festival September 8, reports Hollywood.com. The film is to be screened thrice during the fest. However, Hilton has asked organisers to cancel the two advance screenings in a bid to raise the profile of the film, according to radio-station Wenn.

One show only at Toronto fest of Paris Hilton doc
Toronto International Film Festival now has 75- per-cent less Paris Hilton. Strangely enough, depriving the city of her ubiquitous, lazy-eyed mug is exactly what the fame-hungry Hilton wants. The New York Post says Hilton insisted the documentary Paris, Not France be shown only once. Said Hilton's rep, Jason Moore: "We felt the impact would be more extreme if we had one screening."

Britney Spears to open MTV awards

Britney Spears to open MTV awards

In what could prove a courageous or crazy move, Britney Spears has announced she will return to the MTV Music Video Awards a year after her catastrophic attempt to re-launch her career at the event.
After spending the past few years in and out of hospitals and rehab clinics, the pop singer is to open the Hollywood ceremony on Sunday, but instead of performing she will deliver something "fun and unexpected", MTV said.

Jessica Simpson to put acting career on hold

She made a splash in jean cut-offs as Daisy Duke in the big screen version of ?The Dukes of Hazzard,? but as it stands now, Jessica Simpson has no immediate plans to return to acting.
?I?m not closing that chapter of my life by any means. But I am all about the music right now,? the 28-year-old Simpson told E! News columnist Marc Malkin. ?When it comes to acting, it?s gotta feel right for me at this point in my life. It?s gotta just be a really incredible director and production with an awesome studio and great cast ? But for me right now it?s just Jessica Simpson is music.?
