Bigg Boss 12 FINALE: Deepak Thakur to confess his love to Somi Khan with his performance - watch video

Deepak Thakur entered Bigg Boss 12 with Urvashi. Although initially, they claimed it was a relationship of a fan and a star, it later turned out that they were indeed romantically involved. Urvashi has been quite the dominating girlfriend, snapping at him whenever she felt he was not listening to her. But she soon was evicted from the show. Later, Deepak befriended the likes of Romil Chaudhary, Somi and Saba Khan, Surbhi Rana and others. That resulted in his close proximity with Somi and when Saba was ousted, he got closer to her. Later he tried his best to get further close to Somi but the latter shunned his advances. In one of the episodes, Deepak is even seen getting jealous of Rohit Suchanti when he teams up with Somi for the chores. All that and more will be seen when Deepak will dance with Somi today in the finale. Deepak can be heard singing it too which sounds like a love ode. So will he finally confess his feelings her Somi? This video suggests so...

Bigg Boss 12 ends today and Romil and Karanvir Bohra have already been ousted.

It’s a norm now for #DeepVeer to turn up in somewhat matching outfits, especially after their wedding. To be specific, it’s mostly during their airport appearances that we get to evidently see this. It has now become a unique aspect of their coupling and we love it. Who won’t like to coordinate with their SO, right? And Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh know exactly how to ace the twin and win moment!

They colour coordinated again last night when they were spotted at the airport, on the way to their honeymoon. The theme for the night was all-black and the way their looks were styled, they could be easily part of the next Men In Black movie! Deepika wore a turtle-neck sweater teamed with a fluid straight-cut skirt. Her accessories too went along with the hue as she chose to go for cat-eye sunglasses, boots and Burberry‘s large leather belt bag to complete the look. Ranveer too sported an uber-chic style with knitted crewneck t-shirt and pants combo that was layered with a textured bomber jacket. Matching up the accessories, Ranveer too had on statement sunglasses, boots and a Louis Vuitton Christopher backpack.

Yay! Taimur is here again. The little lad is having a gala time, slaying the sledge. We shared with you his picture waiting to take a ride on that sledge. Now we have him with his parents. While Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are posing gleefully, Taimur is least interested. He is looking the other way. We wonder if he is missing his papz friends. This little Khan has all the luck. After a birthday bash in South Africa, he was off to London and Switzerland for his New year holidays. How cool is that! Bigg Boss 12 FINALE: Sreesanth and Dipika Kakar show off their brother-sister bond with their performance - watch video

Bigg Boss 12 is ending today and honestly, we are happy. This season has been a drab. When you have to rely on an ill-tempered Sreesanth for your daily dose of Bigg Boss masala, you know where the show is headed. The grand finale happened yesterday and will be aired today. When on Sreesanth, we all know how close he is to Dipika. They have been bonding since the early days in the house and despite all ups and downs, have stuck to each other as a brother and sister. Sreesanth has been a protective person towards her and so was Dipika. The latter was often seen torn between siding with him and doing the right thing. That's because Sreesanth has hardly done anything correctly. He has mostly been a quitter. He used to give up on tasks mid-way complaining of not feeling well and sometimes just for the heck of it. Dipika has defended him on many occasions. They did get into a fight when Sreesanth thought Dipika got him evicted and felt betrayed. But they patched up once he returned to the house.

So it was quite obvious to see them perform and show off their brother-sister love on the finale episode.

The finale episode will be aired today.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone strongly believe that a couple twins together stays together. Ever since their wedding at Lake Como, Italy, they have been seen wearing similar shades. It's the end of 2018 and talking about the debutantes of the year, here's why we feel it is unfair to compare Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan

The year 2018 was a benchmark for more reasons than one. Not only did it finally cement the fact that nothing matters more than the script, it also showed us that Bollywood was always ready to embrace change. And talking about change, we have to talk about those who made their debuts this year. It is not easy to be accepted in Bollywood. Even star kids struggle to carve a niche, if the audience don't like their performance. And this year, two star kids made their way to the industry. Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan made their presence felt with their respective debut films. But as is often the case with debutantes who appear on screen on the same year, the audience was quick to pit one against the other. Remember the time when Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor had made their debuts on the same day? The two are compared to each other even today.

No sooner had Kedarnath promotions begun, comparisons were drawn between the two debutantes and sides were taken. But we feel it is rather unfair on them to do so. Apart from the fact that they are individuals, there is also the factor of them starring in two different films, which makes it an unique experience for both of them. By comparing we are only telling that one is better than the other but to judge them on the basis of when they first faced the camera isn't perfect. Here's why we think so...

Different debut films

Janhvi made her film debut with a film like Dhadak, which was a remake of Sairat. She already had the bar set too high as the female protagonist of the Marathi film had garnered rave reviews for her performance. She was pitted against Rinku Rajguru and that was no easy comparison to live up to. On the other hand, Sara chose Kedarnath - an original script, for her debut. We had no one to compare Mukku to, which made it easy to view her with a fresh perspective.

Characters

Janhvi's character Parthvi was that of a rich, spoilt girl, who was used to getting her way everywhere she went. To channel that arrogance in your very first film must be difficult. Sara's Mandakini was a rebel and quite outspoken, and while that is difficult too, Sara managed to pull it off.

Co-stars

Janhvi started her career with another newcomer, Ishaan Khatter, whereas Sara had a seasoned actor like Sushant Singh Rajput to give her company. Not to take anything away from Sara here but when you have someone who is used to facing the camera not only do you learn more, you also respond better to the other person. With two newcomers, there must be a lot of learning happening to make the process flawless.

Focus

Janhvi and Sara also didn't have similar upbringing. While Janhvi always wanted to become an actress, Sara has had change of plans in between. This surely helped her hone her personality into being more than just a film star, which lends to the films and roles she does as well.

Family

Before Sridevi's unfortunate demise, Janhvi was spotted everywhere with her mother. And she imbibes the same poise and charm of her mother, and honestly it is never easy to live up to the image of a superstar like Sridevi. Janhvi, on the other hand, seems to have taken it easy and tried to focus more on creating her own image rather than live up to the ones created by her illustrious family.

All said and done, we really feel that both the girls deserve more than being compared to each other. They are both amazing in their own right and we should give each a chance to prove themselves before writing them off.

Prabhas and Anushka Shetty arrived separately but later both were spotted moving to the beats of the dhol together. Prabhas hugged Rajamouli. When the crowd cheered, Anushka was seen joining in as well. Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Rana Daggubatti made it to the airport together and got a rousing welcome. Later that day, they had a gala time dancing on the stage. Worst dressed: Dear god! What were Karisma Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and these other stars thinking?

It was a shocking week for us at BollywoodLife when we pulled out the style guide. Unlike most weeks at work, this week we had many options to pick out from for our worst dressed celebrities list. We know you think we are some mean souls, but some outfits honestly make us go, What were these guys thinking? There were some stars who shocked us especially since we have raved about them in the past for their fashion choices and statements.

Stars like Karisma Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and more just got us wondering why they wore what they wore in the first place. Fine, we ll stop beating around the bush and reveal who we picked for the list:

Karisma, we have to ask you: What made you want to wear this outfit? We ve seen you pull off some brilliant pieces this year so why this? The ensemble looks confused: should I be ethnic or was I supposed to be a contemporary wear? And those white work around the waist are a big no!

We checked out Janhvi from head to toe: the hair: 10/10! The minimal-yet-glamourous makeup: another 10! The colour of the gown: stunning but hold on! Did your outfit just tear around the waist? No? That s the design? Why? The weird slit distracts your attention from the gown and that s not cool.

She s one of the hottest women in the industry so imagine our horror when Chitrangada was seen wearing an ill-fitted attire recently. The Baazaar actress was seen black one-shoulder ensemble which did not look good on her. The extra fabric on one side of the outfit looked odd and the asymmetrical bottom portion of the dress did not compliment the top portion of the dress well.

We are speechless by Kangana s Manikarnika party look. Let s break down her look first: Kangana wore a grey-black figure-flaunting long skirt and jacket. She completed the look with a pair of boots. The look left us all asking if she wore it because it was too cold, but she wanted to retain the glam quotient. But it clearly failed at doing any of those. And god, that make up gave us nightmares.

We ve been a closing watch at Sara s fashion choices lately. While she s been playing safe with her outfits, she slipped last week when she decided to add a lot of colour in her wardrobe. The neon blue dressed topped with neon yellow and red printed wasn t mean to get out the wardrobe darling. And what s with those chunky red earrings? Nope, don t repeat this look or any of the elements used in this look except for maybe those footwear. We liked the stilettos.

Bigg Boss 12 FINALE ELIMINATIONS: Karanvir Bohra and Romil Chaudhary are out of the show

Bigg Boss 12 will end today. This season has been quite a bummer with even the channel struggling to add spice to the proceedings. Apart from getting into random fights, the inmates did nothing to boost TRPs. Now we hear Karanvir Bohra and Romil Chaudhary have been eliminated. There were rumours that Romil would accept the bag full of money instead of a probable win in the finale. Every season, contestants are given the option to either pick the bag with big bucks or play it till the end and see if they have won. Very rarely have people gone for the bag as winning the game meant a lot to them.

Karanvir Bohra has played the game pretty smoothly. He started off as friends with Sreesanth and Dipika Kakar but by the end of it, he looked closer to the Surbhi Rana gang. He had even ganged up with them against Sree and Dipika. But he has managed to keep his calm all through the season despite all that petty stuff that happened in the house. He even got a lot of support from fans and others whenever Salman Khan took on him. They have fiercely loyal to the Naagin actor.

So with these two out of the game, there's Sreesanth, Dipika and Deepak Thakur contesting for the ultimate trophy. Who do you think will win?

Bigg Boss 12 Winner: Fans declare that Dipika Kakar will beat Sreesanth to walk away with the trophy

Bigg Boss 12 is going to have its finale tonight. After a dismal performance this year, season 12 is going to wrap up tonight. We are just hours away from the show's finale and to know who will be winning the trophy this year. Unlike previous seasons, buzz about the winner has been very low this year. However, BollywoodLife had conducted a poll a few days ago, regarding who the makers think should be the winner of the season. The top five finalists are Dipika Kakar, Sreesanth, Romil Choudhary, Karanvir Bohra and Deepak Thakur. And after running the poll for the few days we have a winner who is winning with a huge margin!

TV actress Dipika Kakar, who is the only female in the finalists, has won the poll. Dipika, who is still remembered as Simar from Sasural Simar Ka, has been tagged as one of the strongest contenders to win the title. While her haters say that she was not entertaining or not visible in the house, she also has a huge army of supporters. That is the reason that, with massive Dipika is the clear winner of our poll with a whopping 44 percent votes. Sreesanth is behind Dipika with a massive difference in votings. With 18 percent he is next, followed by Karanvir Bohra.

Trending Tunes: 2018 comes to an end with Aankh Marey and Mere Naam Tu

It s the last weekend of 2018 which means it is our last edition of Trending Tunes for this year. This month has been all about Simmba and Zero. Week after week, we were introduced to newer songs from the December releases and they have all caught music lovers attention. However, the first songs released from both the movies have ruled hearts throughout the month. The Shah Rukh Khan-Katrina Kaif-Anushka Sharma-starrer rolled out Mere Naam Tu soon after the Zero trailer released, and it was an instant hit.

Similarly, Simmba s Aankh Marey has been on top of the charts since the song dropped. The rendition is being played everywhere from clubs to radio stations and even New York s Times Square and it is hard not to sing along to it. The Ranveer Singh-Sara Ali Khan-starrer song is ending the year with a huge bang!

Yes, yes, we know the song was released a couple of months ago but what can we do if music lovers are tripping over the song? The Namaste England song features Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor in the lead and has Badshah, Diljit Dosanjh and Aastha Gill playing in the background.

Qaafirana:

The Arijit Singh song continues to feature on everyone s playlist. The song beautifully conveys the romantic emotions of the lead stars and that's one of the reasons why it is going to hang around in your playlist for a few more weeks.

Dekhte Dekhte:

The Batti Gul Meter Chalu song has featured in most searched songs of 2018 for a reason and that is Atif Aslam's soulful voice.

10 Movies That Didn’t Live Up To Our Expectations In 2018

2018 gave us some really great Bollywood movies and it was a delight to be at the movies. But there were some that we expected a lot out of and didn’t perform and live up to our expectations as much. 2018 started off with the promise of some epic and never-before-seen actor combinations but turns out not all that glitters is gold. Fanney Khan

This film is living proof that even phenomenal actors like Rajkummar Rao, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Anil Kapoor can’t make up for a lousy script.

Namaste England

This movie should go back to the 80s. How this movie was even made in 2018 is beyond me. Parineeti, C’mon, you can do better than this, for sure!

Thugs Of Hindostan

This one was a huge let down for us and the actors in it. Who would’ve thought a film with legends like Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan would tank. Not us. No amount of star power could’ve saved this Hindi version of Pirates Of The Carribean.

Race 3

3rd time’s the charm. NOT. Not for this movie franchise that became the butt of every internet joke. Let’s stop at 3 for this, shall we?

Batti Gul Meter Chalu

There was a lot of expectation from this movie, what with the subject matter a topic that needed to be brought to the forefront. Unfortunately, the main theme of the movie kind of got lost in the subplots of the movie.

Satyameva Jayate

Cop and robber chase movies are always fun. Unfortunately, not this one. If you are watching this movie, here are 2 points that might be a saving grace: Manoj Bajpayee and Nora Fatehi’s Dilbar Dilbar. True story.

Loveyatri

Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se

We absolutely love watching this trio on screen. But, the movie is another matter altogether. ‘Nuff said.

Aiyaary

The trailer of this movie looked super interesting and it does have Manoj Bajpayee. But, after all the hurdles it faced before the movie hit the theatres, it didn’t manage to win over the critics or the audience.

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi

The first installment of this movie was a revelation and one super fun Punjabi ride. The second one is another mindless entertainer, sure. But nothing that you’d want to spend 2 hours for, TBH.

India's Got Talent 8 Finale: Twitterati feels Javed Khan deserved to win the show – see tweets

The grand finale of the talent show India's Got Talent Season 8 went on air tonight and fans of the show were in for a treat with best performances being put by the finalists. And as Javed Khan lifted the trophy of the season, fans of the magician felt that he was truly the deserving contestant of this season. Twitter users feel that Javed Khan has been a promising contestant right from the first episode he appeared on and deserves to grab the title. Javed Khan is a magician who hails from Mumbai and is a popular figure in magic circles. Javed Khan was being considered as one of the best magicians who appeared on the show in all the seasons. Besides the audience, judges Karan Johar, Malaika Arora Khan and Kiron Kher were mighty impressed with Javed Khan s acts throughout the season.

'What a comeback,' Twitter showers love on Kapil Sharma as season two of The Kapil Sharma Show begins

The Kapil Sharma Show's season two started two. It began with a slew of jokes on Kapil's bad phase where he was out of work. Amongst the new entries, we loved his banter with Krushna Abhishek. The two have a great sense of timing and it is good to see them together. Another actor who deserves a mention is Chandan Prabhakar. He got the punches right on most occasions and was a joy to watch. However, the icing on the cake was the presence of Ranveer Singh. Once he entered, all the jokes were on Kapil who lost out Deepika Padukone to the Bollywood hunk. That part was hilarious and we could not control laughing. Navjot Singh looks a little jaded but Kapil seems to be refreshed and in a mood to rock. Exclusive: The Reason Why Harshvardhan Kapoor Doesn’t Celebrate His Birthday Revealed On Koffee With Karan

This Koffee season has seen an array of debutants on the show. Rhea Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor will be introduced to the Koffee couch along with one of the show’s favourite guests, Sonam Kapoor! The trio is surely going to be an entertaining lot and do what siblings do best – revealing each other’s secrets. One such revelation is going to be the reason why the youngest of the three Kapoors doesn’t celebrate his birthday. 

Harsh likes to keep a low profile and doesn’t have many friends in the film fraternity. All his close friends are from his school with the exception of except Anmol Malik, who is now working in the industry. Explaining why, he says, “It’s great to have the same friends for so long!”

Even Anil Kapoor confesses he fails to understand his son as he would never want to celebrate his birthday even when he was a kid. According to Anil, he is the most mature, sensible and intelligent among all three children. Talking about this, the Mirzya actor explains that for him, a birthday is like any other day.  

It also came to the limelight that he is a mama’s boy, his mother is very protective of him with him being the youngest of the lot! “Since childhood when he was a lefty and his teacher wants to make him a righty, our mother has gone into a mess, even the press was writing all about this” – Rhea said on the show. Sonam chimed in saying, “He is an introvert and very shy.” 

This is certainly going to be one entertaining episode and I can’t wait to watch it!

Naagin 3 29 December 2018 Written Update of Full Episode: In a shocking twist, Vish claims that she loves Maahir

Naagin 3 starts with Bela (Surbhi Jyoti) telling the Vish about Vikrant and his mother. She is shocked. Kuhu is distraught at the death of her husband. Andy Saigal is furious about how can murder be committed in a party. The police question Sumitra (Rakshanda Khan) as she had hired the waiters for the party. She gets upset and leaves the place. Maahir (Pearl V Puri) tries to console her. She tells him that disaster has struck the house. He asks her if she is hiding something. He says you seemed uncomfortable. Sumitra says less security was hired for the party. She shows him a video where Bela is just beside RJ. She says she could have prevented the murder but did not do so. Sumitra says Bela is responsible. She says she saved the baby but he died. Maahir says I will inform the cops. Sumitra says please do not let her know that we know she is evil. She tells Maahir to stay away from Bela to be safe. Vishakha (Anita Hassanandani) tells Bela that she is going to find Vikrant. She says that Bela needs to be with Maahir to protect him from Sumitra. Bela tells Vish to have faith in Vikrant as he is trying to change himself. Vish tells Bela that she has inspired her to look after her love irrespective of the circumstances. She says I will not lose Vikrant.

Maahir confronts Bela and asks her why is she targetting his family? He holds her responsible for the death of RJ. She is shocked. He says I know you're a murderer. Maahir says I am not blind in love any more. Bela says your mom is a liar and she is only after your wealth. She says even if you kill me, I will speak the truth. She reminds him of her love. Maahir screams that he hates her. She remembers their moments and weeps.

Yuvi (Ankit Mohan) is outside the room. When he sees Bela coming out, he taunts her. He says I am always ready to romance you. Sumitra also teases Bela, who screams at her. She says you robbed a baby girl of her father. Sumitra says I will kill everyone if you do not give me the Nag Mani. Bela says I will never give you the stone. Bela says I will not let you win. At night, Andy goes to Kuhu's room to check on her. Maahir goes to the room. They worry about the baby girl. When Andy asks about Bela, he says do not mention her. Andy wonders what is wrong. In the haveli, Vikrant (Rajat Tokas) is shattered with guilt. He remembers how he killed RJ. When Vish reaches there, he tells her to leave him. He says do not love me as you will only suffer. He says I am a heartless person. He begs her. Vish says I have married you, I will not leave you. Vikrant shouts that you married me forcibly, I hate you. Vish says you want to suffer alone but I cannot leave you. He says I am not a good person. She hugs him.

Vish says you have an honest heart and you're a nice guy. She says I know what you did was on someone's orders. She says I will not leave you alone now. He sheds buckets before he. Vish asks him why is he following that woman. She asks if she can help him. He says will you do one work for me. Kuhu's baby is crying non-stop. Maahir tries to make her sleep. Bela says let me try. He refuses to give her the baby. He has to change the baby's diaper and she offers to help. He sends her out of the room. She again goes in to take her phone and finds the baby weeping. Maahir has dozed off. She picks up the baby and cradles it. Maahir wakes up and sees her with the baby. He snatches the baby away from her. Bela is upset and cries. He tells her to go and sleep on the sofa.

At night, Vish enters the house with a knife in her hand. She walks towards Maahir's room. Bela has woken up to drink water. As there is no water, she goes to the kitchen. Vish walks into the room. There is a figure in the kitchen who sprays a portion on Bela. It is Yuvi. She faints in his arms. He carries her to another room. We see a flashback where Vikrant gives a knife to Vish and tells her to finish off the baby girl. Bela wakes up in a tent, and wonders where was she. She tries to recollect what happened at night. She sees blood and rushes to the room. There is a stream of blood coming from the room. She sees that Maahir is alive but Vish has slit her wrists. Sumitra asks what is happening here. When Vish awakens, she asks her why did she slash her wrists. Vish says I do not want to live. Yuvi appears traumatised.

She says my life has no meaning. Vish starts blaming Bela for ruining her life. She says I fell in love and you took away my beloved. Vish says Maahir is the love of my life. Maahir appears shocked. Vish says you have forgotten that you loved me. Bela is upset. Maahir does not know how to react now.

Dubbing union tells Chinmayi Sripada to pay fine and apologize if she wants membership back; But is it fair?

India's biggest movement against sexual misconduct #MeToo had unearthed a can of worms which led to many people being sacked from their positions in various industries including top actors and filmmakers in Bollywood. But one fight that refuses to die down is the one between dubbing union in Tamil film industry and popular singer-dubbing artist Chinmayi Sripada. The popular singer had voiced out few scary and scarring incidents she faced during her long career which led to her being expelled from the dubbing union. Chinmayi had also corroborated many stories during the #MeToo movement which included young singers who were getting trained by renowned personalities in Carnatic music. However, Chinmayi is now forced into a fight with the dubbing union which now says that Chinmayi will have to pay a fine of Rs 1.5 lakh and apologize to the union for going 'against' them during the #MeToo movement.

Chinmayi has stood strong during this period and has voiced out her opinion about the 'process' a dubbing artist has to follow if they were to stay with the union. The popular singer is now questioning the rule of penalising an artist for speaking out and has been receiving support from all quarters in Tamil cinema. Chinmayi has been in a long battle with veterans in the industry like lyricist Vairamuthu and actor Radha Ravi in the #MeToo movement.

This brand new poster from Viswasam featuring Thala Ajith reveals the trailer release date – check it out here

It's official now! Trailer of Viswasam will be out tomorrow, December 30th, 2018 and the wait for fans ends at 1:30 PM. The makers made an announcement about the release date and time about Viswasam's trailer via social media and fans cannot hold their excitement. The makers unveiled a brand new poster featuring Ajith in a traditional attire which confirmed the trailer release date. Directed by Siva, Viswasam will have Ajith sporting a new look which he hasn't tried in any of his previous films. With a slat n pepper look, Ajith will be seen playing a man in a plot which will have a rural background. And this latest poster has sent fans into a frenzy and they are now gearing up for the trailer of Viswasam. Check out the tweets right here:

Viswasam also stars Nayanthara as the female lead actor and will be seen playing Ajith s love interest in the plot. The film is said to be set in a rural backdrop and will have Ajith sporting a traditional and massy look. Going by the posters and the songs released so far, the hype around the film is on a new high and has gotten fans excited about it. Going by speculations, the film may be released on January 10, 2019, which is the Thursday before Pongal.

Star Plus' popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is going to have a major development. Actor Rishi Dev who stepped into Bigg Boss 10 contestant Rohan Mehra's shoes to play the character of Naksh in the show, has decided to call it quits. The actor had put down his papers and his tenure with the show has come to an end. Clearly, it was time when the makers get on board another actor to play the character. And the third actor to play the character of Akshara-Naitik (played by Hina Khan and Karan Mehra)'s son is Shehzad Sheikh. The actor was last seen in the popular show Bepannaah. The daily soap featured Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda in the leads. Sheikh played Arjun Hooda in the TV series which was shut down recently abruptly.
