It's time to get #Rajinified! If you're have fallen off the trail, Rajinikanth's Petta has released in theatres today and it has taken over the South box office. Not just that, the entire fandom is hailing Thalaiva for obvious reasons and more. The Karthik Subbaraj directorial has come as a treat for Rajinikanth fans who are still not over his last release 2.0 alongside B-town Khiladi Akshay Kumar. And this time too marks a double treat as Nawazuddin Siddiqui is playing the antagonist in the film to mark his debut in Tamil cinema. Other than the superstar, Petta is packed with a terrific star cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Sasikumar, Simran, Trisha and it is one of the many reasons people are raving about it.

Clearly, Petta is a dedication to Rajinikanth s style and swag which fans have always gone gaga over. This massy entertainer has been produced by Kalanidhi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. And they couldn't have found a better release date than the festive weekend of Pongal.
