Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy's trailer has garnered a great response from the audience. Anyone who has watched the trailer, cannot stop raving about it. B-town celebs like Ayushmann Khurrana, Anil Kapoor, Diana Penty among others have lauded the trailer. Now, Alia Bhatt's dad Mahesh Bhatt has shared his reaction after Gully Boy's trailer. Sharing a snapshot of Alia wherein she mouthed the 'dhoptungi' dialogue and Ranveer called her 'gundi', the filmmaker tweeted, "Alia is a GUNDI ????."

This particular shot and the one wherein Alia says 'mar jayega tu' became the fodder for memes on social media. Keeping the fun part aside, Alia is being lauded for her 'bindass' attitude in Gully Boy. During the trailer launch, when the actress was asked to divulge more details about her character, she simply said, "I can only say one thing, main bohot logon ko dhopta hai movie mein'. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy is inspired by the life of Mumbai street rappers, Naezy and Divine, who grew up in slums but went on to become leading rappers of the country.
Gully Boy which also stars Vijay Raaz and Kalki Koechlin, is set to release on February 14.
