If you haven't heard it yet, Emraan Hashmi's Cheat India is now titled as Why Cheat India. Yes, a week before its release date, the makers decided to add a prefix to the film due to objections from CBFC. Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying that the Examining Committee watched the movie last Thursday and said that the title was a point of discomfort as it was controversial and misleading when seen in the context of the film. The producers of 'Why Cheat India' released an official statement which stated that they mutually agreed to change the title. But that's not even the scoop.
Apparently, fans are in for a surprise as the actor who has a rep for being B-Town's 'Serial Kisser' has a kissing scene with co-star Shreya Dhanwanthary in the film that revolves around a money-minded businessman who starts the trade of certificates for cash in the country. While Emraan had earlier sworn off from locking lips on screen, turns out the image is harder to dump than he thought. Buzz is that he had to do it at the nth hour after a lot of convincing. Well, we are not complaining!
