Sonam Kapoor is reportedly playing a homosexual character in her upcoming film, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga (ELKDTAL), which also stars Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Rajkummar Rao. Same sex love is yet to be explored to its full potential in Bollywood, but mainstream filmmakers are now gradually embracing the topic. Kapoor & Sons, Padmaavat, Aligarh and Bombay Talkies, for instance, are some of films that depicted the LGBTQ theme in the recent past.

With ELKDTAL, we hope Bollywood progresses further and loses some of the social stigma associated with homosexuality. A lot of curiosity has arisen regarding Sonam’s character and as per an exclusive report in BL, Regina Cassandra will be playing Kuku, her on screen partner.

Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath's white-and-gold wedding reception cake is stunning! - View pics

Indian comedian and actor Kapil Sharma got hitched to his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on December 12 this year. The wedding became the talk of the town, which was quite expected. Just a few days ago the newly hitched couple threw a reception party for their industry friends. The reception was held in a 5-star hotel wherein, Bollywood A-listers, directors, producers and sports stars graced the party. Right from Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, to tennis star Saina Nehwal and TV stars like Jay Bhanushali-Maahi Vij arrived at the red carpet. However, nothing can beat the grandiosity of the reception cake that Kapil and Ginni had.

A fan posted the pictures of Kapil-Ginni's reception cake. The cake looks beautiful and intricately designed. The five-layered cake was designed with flowers, vines and glittery fondant. And in the middle of the cake, you'll find the initials of the newlyweds.

Not just this, being the gracious host that Kapil is, he also called for a cake for the newlywed duo Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. They even cut the cake at the reception. Here take a look...

Nicole Kidman’s crime drama Destroyer to release on THIS date

Actress Nicole Kidman's thriller "Destroyer" will release in India on January 25 next year. PVR Pictures is bringing the crime drama to India, read a statement. Directed by Karyn Kusama, the film follows the story of Erin Bell -- a detective broken by her past and out for revenge -- who was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results.

In an interview to NY Times, Kidman called Kusama a "muscular filmmaker".

"She really pushed me into places I haven't been before. Karyn's not verbose, she's tough: She'll just be like, Okay, good'. But I'm Australian, so I don't need all that. We could communicate almost telepathically, and she protected my space," she said.

The movie also features Sebastian Stan, Tatiana Maslany and Bradley Whitford.
