Since the film is garnering solid word of mouth, we are expecting it to remain rock-steady in the weekdays. Apart from the amazing performances, the film has received appreciation for its direction and cinematography. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri: The Surgical Strike is based on Indian Army's 2016 surgical strike on terrorist camps in Pakistan in retaliation to the terror attack on an Army camp in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir. The film is produced under the banner of RSVP and also stars Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina in key roles.
The film has received positive reviews from all around the corners. Our critic Dishya Sharma gave the film three-and-a-half stars and wrote, "If you loved watching movies like Border and L.O.C: Kargil, Uri: The Surgical Attack is a film for you. It will make you laugh and cry, and you'll walk out of the theatre feeling proud of the soldiers, both on and off the screen." Anyway, have you liked the film? Tweet to us...
