Britney Spears kicked off the European leg of her Circus Tour last night in London at the O2 Arena.
This is the first of eight shows she'll be doing there before moving on to Manchester, Dublin and the rest of Europe.

And in a situation worthy of a soap opera, it seems Britney's people are trying to keep Brit away from former pal Lindsay Lohan, who has also arrived in London.
Back in Britney's partying days, Britney, Lindsay and Paris Hilton created more than a few headlines.
Britney's people don't want her falling back into that lifestyle, and rumors are that they are trying to keep the two apart.
Makes me feel a bit sad for Lindsay though.
With her looking like shes trying to get her life back together, maybe Britney would be a good influence on her.

And lastly, Britney's former assistant, Alli Sims recently told Access Hollywood that things with Britney weren't as bad as everyone made out, and the media blew a lot of it out of proportion.

Paris Hilton and Dubai

Paris Hilton will be filming the latest installment of her reality TV show " Paris Hilton's My New BFF " in Dubai.
Why Dubai?
Paris says its because she wants to expand her brand into the Arab world.
I think it's because she could feel the money pulling her clear across the world.
But Paris in the Arab world?
I can hear "Jihad" being muttered all the way over here.
Paris has said that both she and the show will respect the region's culture.
Even Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, gave his blessing to the show.
Somehow I can't see Paris in a burqa though.
For backup, Paris will be taking her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt with her.

"Paris Hilton's My New BFF." has filmed two seasons in Los Angeles for MTV and one in London for ITV2, British television.

Ayumi Hamasaki, Kumi Koda and Ai Otsuka

J Pop idols Ayumi Hamasaki, Kumi Koda and Ai Otsuka all had to cancel concerts last month because of the threat of Swine Flu.
Avex, the industry leading record label and management company decided to err on the side of safety to protect the public.
The concerts were expected to pull in at least an estimated 48,000 fans.
Rescheduled dates for the six shows in the Kansai (Western Japan) region have yet to be announced.
