Britney Spears "Circus"

I finally got the chance to sit down and listen to most of "Circus" and see a lot of the videos.
Britney doesn't look like she's lost much if any at all.
" Womanizer" may be my favorite track, and the video reminds me a lot of "Toxic" for some reason.
I especially love the lines " You think I'm crazy? I got your crazy!"

And another thing, I got this weird Madonna vibe off the videos and songs.
When I started this blog it was called " Britney Spears, the Downward Spiral". But after things started really piling up on her I changed the name.
I hope Circus really is a new beginning for her.
It looks like it is.
The list of stops on her comeback tour is expanding, with her adding more performances in about half-dozen cities for her 2009 road trip for "Circus".

Kumi Koda

I can't believe I haven't done Kumi Koda on this blog before.
Not only is she talented, but she can pull off cute and sexy at the same time.
That's no easy trick.
Kumi Koda (or Kumiko K?da) on November 13, 1982 in Kyoto, Japan.
She is a Japanese singer and songwriter known for her Japanese Urban and J-pop hits.
Kumi has put out 7 albums and 3 compilation albums.
She has had several number one hits on the Oricon singles chart.
Yahoo! Japan reported Koda Kumi to be the top most searched person in 2006.
Oricon named her the top seller of 2006 and 2007.
Vogue Nippon named her one of their "Women of 2006".
Her 42nd single, "stay with me" will be released on December 24, 2008 and her seventh studio album, TRICK, will be released on January 28, 2009.

Mariah Carey and the Grammys

Awhile back Mariah Carey was heading down the Britney Spears road.
But Mariah seems to have pulled out of that nose dive and is doing pretty well.
But even though things are going better, everything isn't coming up roses.
After putting on go go boots and performing "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," Mariah's album ?E=MC2? was completely snubbed by the Grammy committee.
Not even a single nomination.
Why?
Who cares?
The REAL Mariah Carey question is.....
Is she pregnant?
Rumor has it that Mariah and hubby Nick Cannon may be expecting.
