Britney Spears has had her own website (http://www.britneyspears.com/) for a long time.
And she has been on Twitter (http://twitter.com/britneyspears) for a good while.
And now Britney is at the forefront of a new web venture.
She has lent her likeness and other images to a new series of virtual gifts that Facebook users can send to one another.
Susan Kare ( who designed some of the original Macintosh computer icons back in the 80s) designed the gift symbols.
One of the Britney gifts are free, and the others cost $2 dollars a piece.
All of them are limited editions and the "Happy Birthday" symbol with Britney's signature is available to the first 500,000 buyers only.
