Charisma Carpenter, Legend of the Seeker and The Expendables

Todays most beautiful woman is someone I've seen a lot of lately since I'm going back and re-watching all the old "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" episodes, Charisma Carpenter.
Of course Charisma was Cordelia Chase on Buffy and Angel.
She started out as a stuck up snotty cheerleader, and during the course of the two shows, the character evolved into something much more.

Charisma hasn't been around alot here lately, but all that's about to change.

First up, she's guest starring on the season premier of one of my guilty pleasures, "Legend of the Seeker" as a Mord-Sith.
If you dont watch Seeker, The Mord-Sith are an elite group of women warriors that wear skin-tight leather outfits.

And she is co-starring in an upcoming film called "The Expendables" that may be the greatest action movie ever filmed.
Why?
The movie was written by Sylvester Stallone, and get a load of the reported cast....
Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brittany Murphy and Charisma.
Wow.
I thought it was a joke when I first heard about it, but this could be awesome.

No More Twilight For Rachelle Lefevre

Rachelle Lefevre, the actress formerly known as Twilight's Victoria, has been thrashing about a lot lately after being dismissed from the planned third sequel to the Twilight Saga: "Eclipse."
Rachelle was Victoria in the first film "Twilight" and she reprized the role in the sequel "New Moon", but she was dismissed from Eclipse and replaced with Bryce Dallas Howard.
(You may remember Bryce as Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3).
Summit Entertainment says that Rachelle was in breach of contract for signing on to do the Indy film "Barney's Version," which begins filming the same day as "Eclipse,".
Rachelle says that she was only gonna be tied up with "Barney's Version," for two weeks, after that she was free to devote her full time and energy to "Eclipse,".
But all this talk was going nowhere so Rachelle and Summit are gonna finish this the American way.
With lawyers.

Now Rachelle appeared at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con to help promote New Moon last weekend.
She seems to be committed to the role.
Is the studio just being jerks?
Or are they sending a warning message to the other actors?

Either way, news of this did not set well with Twilight fans who started online petitions urging Rachelle's return.

I don't know, I think Rachelle looks pretty cool in the above pic.
It's not your classic Vampire get-up, no form hugging black leather "battlesuit", but it has a certain flair doesn't it?

Bubbles Paraiso, The Most Beautiful Asian Woman For July

Usually I like to do a top ten of women profiled on this blog, but last month, there was really no competition.
One woman out ranked everyone else easily.
And that woman was beautiful Pinay model and actress Bubbles Paraiso.

Bubbles was born on July 24, 1984 in Quezon City in the Philippines.

She has appeared in the movies For the First Time (2008) and My Monster Mom (2008) and in the TV series "Princess Sarah" (2007) and "Codename: Asero" (2008).
Currently she is in the TV series "Zorro" as Magda.

Bubbles has also been the in the FHM Philippines magazine's 100 Sexiest women in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and was the cover girl of the March 2005 issue.
