Bridget Regan / Kahlan Amnell / Legend of the Seeker

Legend of the Seeker is one of my guilty pleasures.
The reason I started watching it is because it's done by Sam Raimi and like just about everything he has ever done.
And I mean way before he did Spider-Man.
I know online a lot of people have a problem with the fact that the TV series has little in common with the books.
But I don't see how anyone could have a problem with Confessor Kahlan Amnell, as played by Bridget Regan.
(Okay, I was desperately looking for a segue there)

Kahlan is beautiful, poised, compassionate and can wield a sword or dagger with the best of them.
And she looks good doing it.

The lady that plays Kahlan is film, television and theater actress Bridget Regan.
Bridget has appeared in the films The Babysitters, Blinders, The Wedding Album and the Sex and the City movie.
On TV she has appeared in New Amsterdam, American Experience, Love Monkey and The Black Donnellys.

Alexis Bledel

Here is a beautiful woman that we got to see grow up on TV.
Well not really.
Alexis Bledel started out on the WB series Gilmore Girls in 2000 playing High School student and daughter of Lorelai Gilmore, Rory Gilmore.
Alexis was 19 at the time.
But time caught up and Rory went to Yale and became a college student.
Believe it or not Alexis will turn 28 this year on September 16th.

Besides The Gilmore Girls, Alexis has appeared in Sin City (which totally blew away my "Rory" image) as Becky, Tuck Everlasting as Winifred Foster, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (both one and two) as Lena Kaligaris, Life is Short (a short film that she also produced), Post Grad as Ryden Malby (with Jane Lynch and Carol Burnett...yes CAROL BURNETT!) and other films.
She is also rumored to be reprising her role as Becky in Sin City 2, (which Robert Rodriguez keeps saying will come out eventually).

In 2002, Alexis was voted one of the "25 Hottest Stars Under 25" by Teen People, and she was ranked number 87 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2005.
Of course Sin City came out in 2005, but that didn't have anything to do with Maxim's ranking right?

Lindsay Lohan and The Hangover

Did you know that Lindsay Lohan was supposed to be in the sleeper hit "The Hangover"?
Yep, Lindsay was supposed to get the role of Jade that eventually went to Heather Graham.
It seems Lindsay's agent worked hard to get the attention of the movie's director Todd Phillips.
It worked and Lindsay was considered, and then she turned down the script say that it had no potential.
The Hangover was made for $35 million and has so far grossed over $220 million domestically and more than $74 million in foreign markets.

And if that isn't bad enough, now Lindsay is being sued by a St. Petersburg, Florida chemist, Jennifer Sunday, who says Lindsay stole the formula for her sunless tanning spray, Sevin Nyne, from her.

And By the way, Lindsay's movie "Labor Pains" will be premiering on ABC Family this Sunday (July 19) with the DVD and Blu-ray coming out next month on August 4.Originally the movie was slated for a theatrical release.
