This week, she was caring for her children like any mother would when she rushed 2-year-old Jayden James to a hospital after a bad reaction to something he ate. As for her career, only one week ago she was on stage performing with Madonna and on the brink of an extraordinary musical comeback.
Industry watchers wonder whether Spears, 26, can win back the young, fickle fans now accustomed to watching her fall apart, or if she can stage a comeback like pop diva Mariah Carey. She spent several years in a slump before rebounding to charttopper status with 2005 album "The Emancipation of Mimi."

While Lindsay's career maybe careening downhill like a runaway freight train, Lindsay doesn't look like it's affecting her.
Maybe Lindsay is reading "The Secret" or using the Law of Attraction, where you don't focus on whats going on, just the outcome.
I know, some people call it ignoring reality, but hey, she seems to be having a good time.

Lindsay Lohan is on a winning streak.
The young starlet spent the weekend in Las Vegas. She started things off with a party for her new, second line of leggings at Caesars Palace's Pure nightclub, where girlfriend Samantha Ronson was deejaying.
LiLo was spotted the next day grabbing a late sushi lunch at Simon at Palms Place. A few hours later, she went to see Madonna's concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. She had a second-row seat in front of the stage's runway next to Taye Diggs, who was there with a buddy.
"She was really enjoying herself, dancing around," a fellow concert goer says of Lohan.
