Janhvi Kapoor reveals Sridevi was ‘very dramatic’ about her dating life – watch video

If you thought that just because she s a star, Janhvi Kapoor s parents would be cool with her dating life, we re here to burst that bubble. The late Sridevi was like all our parents when it came to Janhvi s dating life. The Dhadak star, who has been linked to Ishaan Khattar ever since the duo was seen together in the Dharma Productions film, recently revealed that Sridevi and Boney Kapoor would get very dramatic while discussing the boys in Janhvi s life.

Speaking to Filmfare, Janhvi discussed about her teen years and revealed that dating has always been a situation at the Kapoor home. Mom and dad were very dramatic about it (dating). (They would say) when you like a guy, come to us and we ll get you married. And I m like what!? You know we don t have to get married to every guy we like. Like we can be chill also, she said.

(Sridevi would be) like chill, what does chill mean? Janhvi recalled. She went on to reassure that she is not dating anyone despite all the rumours. The actress also recalled the days following her mother s death and said that though it has not been easy for her. I think, I was still in that state of shock, to be very honest. I think I am still in shock. None of it has been processed. Like, I have no memory of three or four months, Janhvi said.

She also went on to elaborate how Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor were there to support her and Khushi Kapoor during the tough time. You know at the end of the day, we have the same blood in us. I don't remember anything of those four months but I do remember that one day when we were sitting in Harsh (Anil Kapoor's son) Bhaiya's room and Arjun Bhaiya and Anshula (Arjun Kapoor's sister) Didi came in -- I think that was the one day when I felt like, 'Ok maybe we might be okay .
