Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, who made an impressive debut with Masaan has marked his presence in the entertainment industry with extraordinary skills. Remember his gravitas in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi? Even opposite Alia Bhatt, he always held his ground and even outshined her in parts with a brilliant character arc for his role of a Pakistani Army officer. Interestingly, the actor will again portray the character of an army officer but this time from India. If you missed it, Vicky is all set essay the role of a commander-in-chief and will be based on 2016's surgical strike in Uri. It will be directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his banner RSVP.
In fact, the Vicky had recently taken to Instagram to share that the trailer will be out soon. But he did it in a way that has only made us reel in anticipation. Actually, he shared a sneak peek of the dubbing process of the film and his caption read, "Dubbing for an action sequence can sometimes be quite a comical scene... actually always! #bts #URI...Trailer coming out soon ??" Watch the video here.
Earlier, a source had informed Mumbai Mirror earlier, "The Indian Army and navy have been extremely supportive with respect to the research for the film and training for the cast. Vicky and the supporting cast trained at Mumbai s Navy Nagar with Captains and Majors teaching them slithering, using arms and ammunition and other drills used by the armed forces." Yami Gautam plays the other lead. The film will release on January 11, 2019.
Uri will forever remain in our memory as a place which saw the merciless deaths of 19 Indian soldiers at the hand of the militants. Later the Indian Government started surgical strikes, which was hailed by many. Hopefully, the movie will explain the unanswered questions.
