KGF is a multi-lingual release and is directed by Prashant Neel. It will mark the debut of Yash in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil since it is being released in multiple languages. Speaking about the film, lead actor Yash told us in an exclusive interview that the film initially started off as a Kannada release only. But as the shooting progressed and took shape, they realised it could have a bigger release. "Initially, we did not have any plans of releasing it in multiple languages. But as shooting progressed, we realised the scalability of the film. So, we thought we would do it in three languages and not just Kannada. Also, initially, we wanted to do a big film in Kannada and show the world that our industry is capable of doing such films too. As the film started taking shape, we realised how wonderful it was turning out to be. Our producer, Vijay Kiragandur, too believed that KGF has the potential to go places," Yash told BollywoodLife in an exclusive interview.
