After a massy peppy track, the makers of Dhanush and Sai Pallavi starrer Maari launched a breezy romantic track titled Maari's Aanandhi. Well, honestly right from its first beat, the song strikes the chord with us as the listener. Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the track is crooned by legendary Illayaraja along with MM Manasi. The beautiful lyrics of the song is penned by our lead star and multi-talented Dhanush.

The simple words of the song are so relatable to the current generation that it will instantly remind you of your loved one. Talking about Maari 2, Dhanush returns as the stylish dreaded gangster and with the charm of Sai Pallavi, we are expecting the film to open to packed houses at the box office. The film is directed by Balaji Mohan and it marks the second collaboration with Dhanush after Maari. Actors Robo Shankar and Vinod, who played Dhanush's sidekicks in the first part, will be part of Maari 2. Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas has been signed to play the antagonist. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on December 21 and will lock horns with Shah Rukh Khan's Zero, Yash' KGF and Vijay Sethupathi's Seethakaathi at the ticket windows.
