Here's when Akshay Kumar's Pad Man will release in China

After enjoying a good run at the domestic market, Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte starrer Pad Man is all set to hit the screens in the Chinese market on December. This film will be last venture of 2018 to hit the screens in China. Post the humongous of success of Dangal and Secret Superstar, we saw many Bollywood films releasing in this market. Interestingly, this is the second film of Akshay after Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which released in this circuit in 2018. Though the screen count of the film has not been announced yet, we expect the film to get good number of screens in China.

Talking about Pad Man, the film is based on the life of Tamil Nadu-based social activist, Arunachalam Muruganantham. Akshay Kumar portrays the central role in the film, who finds a way to make cheap, affordable sanitary napkins for the women in his village. It also features Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in key roles and is directed by R. Balki, who has previously helmed movies like Ki And Ka, Shamitabh, Paa and Cheeni Kum. On the professional front, Akshay is gearing up for the release of India's most expensive venture 2.0, which is set to hit the screens on November 29. Directed by Shankar, the film is produced under the banner of Rs 600 crore and also stars Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in key roles.
