Nazriya Nazim is one of the few actresses in South Indian cinema who enjoys a huge following despite not doing many films. Post her wedding to actor Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya took a break from films for a while. And recently, Nazriya made a comeback in Malayalam with Koode which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and was directed by Anjali Menon. And according to emerging reports, Nazriya Nazim will soon make a comeback in Tamil cinema. News has it that Nazriya has been approached to play one of the lead roles in Ajith s upcoming film which will be the Tamil remake of Bollywood hit Pink. Reports reveal that Nazriya Nazim will be seen playing one of the girls in the lead roles. However, the makers haven t officially confirmed it yet. The Tamil remake of Pink will see Ajith reprise the role played by Amitabh Bachchan in the Hindi version of it. The yet untitled film went on floors recently and will be bankrolled by Boney Kapoor. This will be the first Tamil venture for Boney Kapoor who waited too long to get the ball rolling in South.
Nazriya made her debut in Tamil with Neram in 2013 and followed it up with Atlee-directorial Raja Rani which brought her huge recognition. And after appearing in couple of films in Tamil and Malayalam, Nazriya got married to her Bangalore Days co-star Fahadh Faasil in 2015. Nazriya made a comeback this year again with Koode and had said that she will continue to do films more often now.
