Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Suwarna, actress Parul Chauhan got married on December 12 with Chirag Thakkar. The two married as per Hindu rituals in a mandir in Juhu. Post that, she went to Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh to throw a reception. Parul channelised her inner Rani Padmavati with her reception outfit. The velvet lehenga was accessorized with heavy jewellery including a huge necklace, a matha patti and a nose ring. Chirag opted for a black suit with a gold chain. Tia Gandwani and few actor friends attended the ceremony. The two had been dating for two years now. Parul is best known for her work in Bidaai.
Parul's mentor Rajan Shahi told Bollywood Life about her love story, "One day I got a call from her when she was in London. She said she wanted to meet me and tell me something urgent. There I had a feeling, that something major is happening in her personal life for sure. Then when she returned, she told me that she wants to get married. She further added that she won t disclose this to anyone before I meet him (Chirag). It seems the team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had teased her that would she marry soon now that she had entered the serial. Pooja Joshi and Lata Sabharwal also got married working on the show.
