Kapil Sharma's Mumbai reception was a lit affair courtesy Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. We know how fond Kapil is of the Padmaavat actress and she did not disappoint him by turning up for the function. Kapil had also attended their reception. While RS opted for a black bandhgala, Deepika donned a hot pink Raw Mango silk saree with fresh flowers in her hair. Once, the couple entered in, they were the cynosure of everyone's attention. Ranveer took to the stage where Mika Singh was crooning and rapped to songs like Tu Mera Hero and Saddi Gaali. Throughout he danced with Deepika, and even pecked her on the cheeks on the dance floor. So cute! Kapil Sharma who is a huge fan of the couple also ordered a special cake and champagne for his favorite Deepika and Ranveer. The two cut the cake with Mika Singh belting Jabse Maine Pehna Ishq E Sehra (Khalbali) from Padmaavat.
Needless to say, Ranveer was touched by the gesture and said that it was incredibly of Kapil to do that. Deepika also made Kapil's mom Janak join the cake-cutting. Check the video here...
Fans of #DeepVeer have also loved this gesture of Kapil Sharma. It was indeed very sweet on part of him. Kapil Sharma is all set to be back with The Kapil Sharma Show season 2 that will start from December 29 i.e. next week.
