You ve seen her rule the red carpets, you ve also seen her shine bright at parties and now, Khushi Kapoor is all set to take over the big screen as she prepares for her Bollywood debut. The Kapoor daughter is all set to follow in her older sister Janhvi Kapoor s footsteps into Bollywood in 2019. And like her Janhvi, Khushi too is making an entry into Bollywood under the guidance of Karan Johar. The soon-to-be star s debut was confirmed by the filmmaker on No Filter Neha.
Recording the finale podcast of season 3, Karan told Neha Dhupia that late Sridevi s daughter is indeed making her Bollywood debut in 2019. The revelation came after Neha asked KJo about the star kids he d be launching next year. He named Khushi and Javed Jaffrey's son Mizaan.
Mizaan is going to be amazing, he is a potential big star and a great dancer. And Khushi perhaps, she is gorgeous and lovely, he said.
While the filmmaker did not share more details about Khushi s debut, we re already predicting that Khushi is going to shine bright like a diamond and hopefully rub Janhvi s shoulder on the box office front. The latter was launched this year opposite Ishaan Khattar in the remake of the Marathi hit Sairat. Dhadak went on to enter the Rs 100 crore club.
Dhadak registered Rs 8.71 crore earnings on the day of its release and recorded a collection of Rs 33.76 crore in its first weekend.
As for Khushi, she s been spotted spending time with Janhvi at parties and holidays. As of now, the Kapoor sisters are in Singapore celebrating Anshula Kapoor s birthday. The sisters will be joined by Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor.
