Virat Kohli is the pride of every cricket-crazy Indian. The captain of the cricket team is known to be an aggressive player and does not hesitate from giving it back when he or his teammates get sledged. The Indian team has just lost the second test against Australia in the ongoing series Down Under. On Monday, Australian captain Tim Paine and he got embroiled in a war of words and umpire Chris Gaffaney was forced to intervene when Kohli complained to him. Paine was also heard saying, "I know he's your captain but you can't seriously like him as a bloke?" Yesterday, matters got quite heated after Kohli questioned Paine's technique. Well, Naseeruddin Shah who is an avid cricket fan wrote on Facebook that Kohli's bad manner paled his cricketing exploits and talent, which is considered supreme in contemporary cricket.
Needless to say, fans are extremely unhappy with the veteran actor's statement. Angry comments have filled social media degrading Naseeruddin Shah's statements. Read some of the comments...

I do agree with Naseeruddin Shah, only if the standards are the ones set by the previous generations of players. I think Virat Kohli just reflects the attitude of this generation. We need to teach our kids how to behave. Thanks to Mr. Shah for starting the conversation. #AUSvIND

No sir, I disagree. Naseeruddin Shah should be made the Captain of Indian Team immediately & @imVkohli given some rest. Let him enjoy sometime with his family. Let Naseer lead the team for this series. This is the best chance to make sure this guy does not enter India back.
