Okay...what just happened?! IMDb released the list of top stars of Indian Cinema of this year on the movie website and Deepika Padukone's name tops it. But it is the presence of Shah Rukh Khan on the second spot that got all our attention. It's sort of unbelievable to see him on the second spot because there is hardly anyone who doesn't talk about him. But guess Padmaavat's massive Rs 300 crore and more score at the box office put her ahead of everyone else. Then there's also a lot of talk about her wedding to Ranveer Singh. All that could have been instrumental in putting her on top of the tally. IMDb's announcement also gives an idea of why they ranked Deepika so high on the list. It reads, "IMDb determines its definitive top 10 lists using data from IMDbPro STARmeter rankings, which are based on the actual page views of more than 250 million monthly unique visitors to IMDb." Clearly, Deepika managed to get more hits on her page than anybody else this year. Check out the complete list right here...
