Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor dated for a few years before the actor moved on. But after a while, the two had reconciled and have often been spotted together. They even did two films together post their breakup, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha. While their on-screen chemistry continued to be explosive, their real-life friendship made many believe that ex-es can totally be friends. But when Ranbir and his current girlfriend Alia didn't turn up for the Deepika and Ranveer Singh's wedding reception eyebrows were raised. But while we were a bit surprised, Deepika wasn't because it seems she expected that from Ranbir. Speaking about the same on Famously Filmfare, Deepika says, "We ve not spoken. I mean, we spoke before the reception but we have not spoken after. But, that s him. I m not surprised at all. But, that s the relationship we share and that s the beauty of that relationship; so much is said without saying much at all. It definitely is amusing. Katrina Kaif was invited to the reception and she even attended it. While speaking to us, Katrina even revealed how she was gorging on fondue at the party. Deepika had gone on record to say that she made peace with her. She told in an interview, "I've always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she's been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her."
Now there are reports that Ranbir and Alia were shooting for Brahmastra on that day and thus couldn't make it to the reception. Just saying...
