Sonali Bendre is back in Mumbai after spending six months in the US for her cancer treatment. The actress has shared an Insta post where she has a new update for Sonali Book Club. As we know, she is an avid reader and kept on reading through her treatment in the US. Her son, Ranveer recently hosted an event for her book club in Bandra and got a lot of love from her fans. Sonali wrote that her son has become a more enthusiastic reader now and is even recommending books. The actress who was diagnosed with a high grade tumour underwent treatment at the Sloan Kettering Centre in the US. Her brave spirit was applauded by everyone.
Whenever she felt better, Sonali would take tours of the bookstores in New York City. Her son Ranveer would visit her now and then. She has called him her pillar of support throughout this phase. She wrote on Insta, "As much as we wanted to protect him, we knew it was important to tell him the full facts. We ve always been open and honest with him and this time it wasn t going to be different. He took the news so maturely and instantly became a source of strength and positivity for me. In some situations now, he even reverses roles and takes on being the parent, reminding me of things I need to do!
