Look who's being set up together on the big screen. It's none other than Sara Ali Khan and her crush Kartik Aaryan. Yes, you heard that right. It is being reported that the duo are being cast for Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone s 2009 hit Love Aaj Kal which is being remade with a fresh story. The film s second part is slated to kick off soon and will be directed by Imtiaz Ali as per a report by Filmfare. The film will see Kartik Aaryan as the main lead opposite, Saif Ali Khan s daughter Sara Ali Khan who will play the female lead.

This will mark Sara's third film and she will pair with Kartik for the first time. And we must say Sara is on a roll. She is probably the first debutante to have bagged films so quickly after her debut. As for Kartik, the young actress has been making headlines about having a crush on Kartik after she confessed on Koffee With Karan 6 that she would love to date Kartik. Recently, Ranveer Singh too decided to play cupid and introduce the two actors formally to each other at an event. And now, with the talks of Sara and Kartik doing a film together, we wonder if all this was a build up to making the pair work in Love Aaj Kal 2. But we personally believe that with a talent like Sara, they don't really need these tactics. She can make anything work. Don't you think?
We also wonder if daddy Saif will be seen in the sequel as well, considering that the first part of the project saw him in a double role. But all we can do right now is to wait and watch. Hope we get some confirmations soon.
