Shah Rukh Khan's Zero is now running in theatres and the audience reaction seems to be more favourable than what critics have written for the film. The actor plays the role of Bauaa Singh, a vertically challenged man who finds love with a NASA scientist, Aafia Yousafzai Bhinder. They meet and fall in love. However, he also falls for the Bollywood diva, Babita Kumari Sharma at the same time and dumps Aafia for her. Later, how he redeems himself forms the crux of the story. This is the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Aanand L Rai. Bollywood Life caught up with the superstar for a chat. The actor said that it is very important for him to work with like-minded people. He says that though Zero is in the commercial space, it is different from other films. SRK also said that he was just a medium in telling the story that Aanand and Himanshu Sharma had envisioned.
King Khan also told us that he knew of Aanand L Rai for a long time and knew him as a gentleman. He said I do not work on a film just because it sounds good.
