Simmba was and continues to be better than anybody expected. Of course, the Ranveer Singh starrer was always pinned high on hopes but the way it has left the box office registers to chime is mind-ich-blowing! But even amidst all the whistle worthy action and dialogues, the most eye-grabbing surprise was when Singham made an entry. Even better? When Rohit Shetty introduced us to Akshay Kumar aka Sooryavanshi. Because come on, who better than Khiladi Kumar to take charge?!
Earlier, we had told you that the project will go on the floors from May-June this year and will be a kickass action entertainer. But now we have our hands on another neat deet and per usual, we are here to share. Reportedly, Akki's Housefull co-star Pooja Hegde will be paired opposite him in the cop drama. A source told Bollywood Bubble, "There s hardly any space for a heroine. That s how most of Rohit s films are designed except a few. The cop dramas have always had minute roles for all the actresses and it s a similar case for Sooryavanshi as well."
Having said that, the insider added, "Pooja Hegde will be seen opposite Akshay. He has been instrumental in telling Rohit to consider her for the part. Akshay and Pooja are paired opposite each other in one of the portions in Housefull 4." Apparently, the actor is playing the part of an ATS officer. Apart from that, Akshay will be seen in films like Mission Mangal and Kesari.
