As bizarre as it sounds, reports of Shahid Kapoor being daignosed with stomach cancer has been making the round of the alleys of the internet. You heard that right. It began as a rumour, as a blind item with details of cancer, his career path and upcoming projects. And subsequently led to the dismay and grief of a lot of fans who fell for it. Needless to say, concerns over his health started pouring in as details of the vague piece stated that it's first stage cancer. But thankfully, it's all a hoax. When quizzed, a family member told ABP news, "log kuchh bhi kaise likh sakte hain? Aakhir is khabar ka aadhar kya hai? Is tarah ki afwaahein phailaane ko kis tarah se jaayaz tthehraya ja sakta hai?" (How can people write just anything? This news is based on what? Spreading rumors like these is not acceptable)." And we can see where they are coming from. It is shocking and digraceful, especially in times and given the condition of Sonali Bendre, Irrfan Khan and veteran actress Nafisa Ali's who are fighting a battle against cancer.Contrary to any report, Shahid recently took to Instagram where he can be seen chilling with wife Mira Kapoor.
On the work front, Shahid was last seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu opposite Shardda Kapoor will be seen next in Kabir Singh. It is a Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. Recently, he took to Twitter to share a picture of himself as he preps up for the film.
