It has been a tough year for Sonali Bendre. Early this year, the actress revealed that she has been detected with cancer and she s going to be fighting it like a warrior. Over the past year, she s tried to make her fans a part of her journey. From personally penning down a note for fans and informing that she was undergoing treatment to sharing thoughts that were passing through her mind on several occasions - she got us emotional every time. And this time is no different.
Sonali took to Instagram to share pictures of the last time that she blow-dried her hair, before she cut those tresses short, and reflected upon the year that went by. She wrote: Throwback to my last blow-dry before I cut my hair. Now that my hair is gradually growing back.... Maybe I can look forward to another blow-dry in 2019! This journey has been immense, and has taught me so so much.... From being in awe of the body's willingness and capacity to fight and heal and recover to overwhelming gratitude to the people who have stood by me and been pillars of strength to being reminded of life's transience and that things come and go (much like my hair). Here's looking towards a healthier and happier 2019. Onwards and upwards...
