'No one had the humour, wit and presence like you,' says Raveena Tandon as she remembers Kader Khan

The news of actor-screenwriter, Kader Khan's sad demise left entire Bollywood fraternity in tears. After battling with illness for years, the 81-year-old actor left for the heavenly abode on December 31, in Canada. As soon as the news of his demise came, many celebrities offered their condolences. Remembering the legend, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "Kadar Khan passes away .. sad depressing news .. my prayers and condolences .. a brilliant stage artist a most compassionate and accomplished talent on film .. a writer of eminence; in most of my very successful films .. a delightful company .. and a mathematician!." Besides Big B, Shatrughan Sinha, Govinda, Raveena Tandon, who had the privilege to work with the senior actor in films like Dulhe Raja, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, shared a heartfelt note for him.

Sharing a picture with Khan on her Instagram, Raveena wrote, "#kaderkhan you shall be missed. No one had the humour wit and presence on the screen like you did, from Aatish, gharwali baharwali,to Dulhe Raja ,wah tera kya kehna to Bade Miyan Chote Miya.you leave treasured memories kader bhai ,. ?...??? condolences to the family" [sic]

Born in Kabul, Kader Khan made his debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna's Daag. He featured in more than 300 films and wrote dialogues for over 250 movies. Truly, the actor made us laugh out loud and will live in our hearts forever.
