As Shivani reveals that she is pregnant, Prerna and Anurag are shocked to know that. Prerna asks her about the name of the boy who cheated on her. Shivani shares that it is Ronit Chaubey who made her pregnant. Prerna and Anurag are shocked to hear the name. Shivani cries a lot. She shares that she had an affair with Ronit but later he cheated on her. But the moment she came to know that she is pregnant, she called him up but he denied marrying her. So Shivani says that she wants to die as her parents will get a big shock to know that she is pregnant before marriage. But Prerna consoles her giving her support. Prerna gets determined not to spare Ronit. She goes to see him. But at the door of the ward, Veena, Rajesh and Moloy are there. Veena is shocked as she heard that Shivani is pregnant. She goes out of the ward without meeting Shivani. Moloy comes to Anurag who is trying to calm down Shivani. He asks Anurag to see where Prerna has gone. Moloy also consoles Shivani. Veena collapses with the shock but somehow she manages to sit down on the bench. Anurag goes to see Prerna. He finds that Prerna is crying in a corner. Anurag asks Prerna about how she will take revenge from Ronit if she starts crying. Prern says that she is not weak but she will not spare Ronit. Anurag asks her about her plan to teach a lesson to Ronit. But Prerna doesn t have a plan. She asks Anurag for the suggestion. Anurag asks her to file a legal case against Ronit. Anurag says that he will come along with her to file a case. So both of them leave for the police station.
Moloy comes back home. Mohini is sleeping. She asks Moloy about the reason he went out so early in the morning. He shares whatever happened with Shivani. But Mohini gets angry with him for leaving the party of his daughter Nibedita s anniversary party for Shivani. She asks Moloy not to help Sharma family as she feels that Sharmas are trapping him by gaining sympathy in the issue. But Moloy is not ready to listen to her. Mohini calls Shivani as a characterless girl . Both of them have a fight on the issue of Shivani. Mohini blames Veena and Rajesh for not upbringing their daughters properly. Moloy reminds Mohini about Nibedita who was found in a hotel with Anupam and to hide that issue, Nibedita had to marry Anupam. Mohini explains that Nibedita loved Anupam so Moloy also defends Shivani saying that she also loved Ronit who cheated on her. Mohini doesn t love the concern Moloy has for Sharmas. She feels that Mishka has come back to India at the right time else Prerna would have blackmailed Moloy emotionally and got married to Anurag. She thanks God as she feels that Mishka and Anurag are together.
Next day morning, Komolika and Mishka have chat on the breakfast table. Mishka is happy to be with her family after a long time. She enquires about Ronit. Komolika says that he came late at night. Later Mishka remembers that she needs to meet an old friend. Komolika asks her to make new friends instead of being in touch with old friends. But Mishka says that she is doing all that for Anurag. Later she goes to meet her friend. Ronit comes downstairs. Komolika greets him. Ronit apologizes for getting up late as he came late in the night. Komolika asks him for the matter. By that time Police arrive at their place. They come to arrest Ronit for rape of Shivani and for her attempt to suicide. But Komolika still warns the police not to arrest him, she calls her father. But her father doesn t pick up the call. So she asks the inspector to avoid the arrest warrant unless and until her father speaks to his senior about the issue. The inspector informs her that they have come to arrest Ronit as per the orders from their seniors and only the person who lodged complaint can do something for Ronit. He reveals that the person who has filed the case is Prerna Sharma. Komolika wonders about it. But the police take Ronit along with them.
Prerna asks the inspector in the police station about whether Ronit will be arrested or not. The inspector assures that Ronit will be surely arrested as the inspector who went to arrest Ronit is very good friend of Anurag. Prerna holds his hand as a gesture to thank him. Anurag also holds her hand but Prerna leaves his hand apologizing him. Anurag says in his mind that he will be always with Prerna as they are friends. But Prerna has realized her love for Anurag but he has not yet so he keeps on assuming that they are friends so they need to help each other. But for both of them, they are special for each other. The inspector gives a paper to Prerna for signing, Anurag checks it before Prerna signs it. Anurag requests the inspector to call the inspector who has gone to arrest Ronit in order to confirm whether they arrested Ronit or not. Ronit recollects all that happened between him and Shivani while he is in the police jeep going to the police station. He feels very guilty. On the other hand, Komolika is following them who is wondering about who is Prerna. She decides not to spare Prerna Sharma.
Mohini comes to Anurag s room saying that the breakfast is ready but she finds that Anurag is not there in the room. She calls Anurag. She asks him why he went for the football practice without meeting her. Anurag tells her that he is in the police station. Mohini gets tensed. She asks him whether everything is fine. She says that she will come there along with Moloy. But Anurag informs her that he is with Prerna to help her to file a case against Ronit for Shivani. She tries to stop Anurag from helping Prerna and her family but Anurag assures her that he is safe and they have come to lodge the complaint. Still Mohini chases him not to get involved in Shivani s case. But Anurag asks her to relax. Prerna also comes there while he is talking to Mohini. He says that he cannot see anything wrong happen so he is supporting Prerna as the guy is wrong who made Shivani commit suicide. So after Anurag makes her understand the situation, Mohini asks him to come home soon. He smiles as he knows that Mohini is concerned for him as a mother. Prerna thanks Anurag. He says that he has promised her to be with her always. Prerna feels why Anurag is so nice as a person.
