New Year 2019: 9 promising newcomers who will make it big with their Bollywood debuts this year

2018 was a great year for the movies, the trade and cine-goers. With content-driven drams, viewers have had a variety so far with a gamut of unconventional stories, told with fresh narratives. Not just that, a bunch of newcomers also made their presence felt and it feels like it was our pleasure. Be it a Janhvi Kapoor or a Sara Ali Khan,

movie buffs were left hooting after seeing starlets on the silver screen in their debut. And that seems like a good note to end the year with. Having said that, 2019 is here and it looks promising as ever. Because a lot other new faces are all set to make headlines this year and we're counting days!

In fact, we are here to remind you about these debuts so that you can mark your calendars. From a few familiar faces from within the industry to talent house outside the block, here are the peeps you should watch out for in 2019. Dekko...

Ananya Panday

Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya is all set to sizzle on-screen in Student of The Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff. The Punit Malhotra directorial is releasing on May 10!

Tara Sutaria

SOTY 2 will allow us to welcome another debutante Tara Sutaria to the world of showbiz. The newbie is also playing a prominent role in the campus drama with co-stars Tiger and Ananya.

Isabella Kaif

Katrina Kaif's beautiful sister Isabella Kaif is gearing up for her big break too. She is the lead heroine in Sooraj Pancholi's upcoming film, Time To Dance which will release this January. She was last seen in Dr Cabbie, an English language film that was produced by Salman Khan.

Ahan Shetty

Suniel Shetty's son Ahan is also prepping for his breakthrough in the world of cinema. It was recently revealed that filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala is launching the newbie with the remake of Telugu hit RX 100. The movie will release in May 2019.

Zaheer Iqbal

Salman Khan is turning producer again with Notebook that will mark the debut of Zaheer, who doesn t come from a film family, but his father and Salman have been childhood friends. The love story is set in Kashmir and has been directed by Nitin Kakkar. It hits cinemas on March 29.

Pranutan Bahl

Along with Zaheer, SKF will also be launching another pretty face with Notebook and it is none other than legendary actress Nutan Bahl's granddaughter Mohnish Bahl s daughter, Pranutan Bahl.

Sanjana Sanghi

Sanjana Sanghi is making her Bollywood debut alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in Mukesh Chabra's Kizie Aur Manny. The film is a remake of the popular Hollywood hit, The Fault In Our Stars.

Karan Deol

Sunny Deol is all set to direct son Karan Deol's maiden Bollywood film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. He will be seen opposite Saher Bamba, another newcomer who has been a beauty pageant winner in 2016. The shooting for the film had commenced in May 2017.

Ashwami Manjrekar

Earlier Mahesh Manjrekar had confirmed that Salman Khan is launching his daughter Ashwami in the world of cinema. In fact, buzz is that she will be making her mark with Salman in Dabangg 3, which will also star Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan.
