There has been immense buzz around the Hindi debut of Telugu hottie and rising star Vijay Deverakonda. Of late, we read how big banners like Dharma Productions and Yash Raj Singh were vying to cast the Arjun Reddy actor in their productions. When Janhvi Kapoor and Karan Johar heaped praise on Vijay Deverakonda on Koffee with Karan 6, everyone began speculating if KJo had a script where he planned to cast the two good-looking actors. Well, rumours are doing the rounds that he will make his debut with Ranveer Singh's '83, which is based on India's epic win at the World Cup. While Ranveer Singh plays the part of Kapil Dev, Deverakonda will be Kris Srikanth.

Vijay Deverakonda is a hot property down South with his films like Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindham and Taxiwala. Karan Johar referred to him as one of the 'supremely sexy men' of the South Indian industry. We are sure that his inclusion will benefit '83 immensely if it indeed happens. Kabir Khan is the director of '83. The film which was initially supposed to release in 2019 but now it has shifted to April 2020. It will be great to see Ranveer and Vijay in the same frame.
