It s the season of reunions! After Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had a memorable Bajirao Mastani reunion at Priyanka and Nick Jonas Bollywood reception recently, Kajol reunited with the makers of Baazigar - Abbas and Mustan. The actress pictured the reunion and took to social media to share the image. While we were glad that the memories of 1993 blockbuster made her all nostalgic, we couldn t help but miss Shah Rukh Khan and Shilpa Shetty in the reunion party.
The movie saw SRK play an anti-hero who *spoiler alert* kills Shilpa and falls in love with Kajol only to take revenge from the actresses on-screen father. Sharing the picture from their reunion, Kajol said,

On November 12, 2018, Baazigar marked 25 years of its release. In an interview on the occasion, the filmmakers shared that Juhi Chawla and Sridevi was being considered for the role of Kajol. However, the makers wanted a fresh pairing hence Kajol was roped in.
When we went to Kajol, she was so lively and jovial, we felt she might not be able to understand the script and her role. She showed her maturity during the shoot and remained focused. Shilpa too worked very hard," Mustan says.
"People still like the film and it is a big compliment to the entire team. The important thing is the maker should be convinced with his own vision as that will reflect on screen. We had a hero playing a negative role. Though it led to the hit pairing of Shah Rukh and Kajol, it was not a romantic film. But it all worked well," Mustan added.
