Star Plus' Mariam Khan - Reporting Live might be the first show to bid adieu in the New Year. The show that took a leap of late had roped in Mahima Makwana and Param Singh in the roles of Mariam and Fawad respectively. While the introduction of the new leads created some excitement, the show's TRPs are pretty low. It seems the channel has taken the decision to pull the plug of the show. As per a report in Tellychakkar.com, the show will air its last episode on January 11. The team will wrap up shoot by end of December. It seems Mariam will find out that her entire family is safe and get reunited with them in the climax.
Mariam Khan - Reporting Live told the story of an imaginative young girl, Mariam who was very inspired by her righteous father, Majaaz Khan who was a journalist in Bhopal. The show has been in the news for the exit of its male leads, Avinash Mishra and Paras Kalnawat. Later, even Priyanka Kandwal left the show. The makers had hoped that the entry of Param would boost ratings as he is an actor with good fan following. There is no confirmation on the news so far but it looks like it is inevitable.
