Kapil Sharma is soon going to be back on our TV screens with The Kapil Sharma Show season 2. The star comedian got married on December 12 in Jalandhar in a Hindu ceremony, which was followed by a Sikh ceremony. Last night, he shared a video from the Anand Karaj function and it is all love. We can see that the venue is beautifully done up with flowers and lights. The song Maula plays in the background. We can see that Kapil Sharma is all smiles. However, it is Ginni Chatrath who makes us kind of sentimental as we can see pure love in her eyes. The couple finished their wedding ceremonies with a reception in Mumbai that was attended by Ranveer Singh - Deepika Padukone, Rekha, Kriti Sanon, Saina Nehwal and others. Their love story is quite adorable. Kapil Sharma would organise plays in Amritsar and that's where Ginni met him for the first time. They became good friends and slowly she confessed that she liked him. However, they never dated as they came from conservative families. After he started earning well, his mom asked Ginni's dad for her hand only to be rejected outright. She kept on studying and rejected other proposals.
Ginni told Bombay Times, "Kapil is a gem of a person and very caring. There is no one like him and I can't find anyone better than him. He is a family man. If he loves his mother and sister so much, it's certain that he would love his partner, too. He is a star for the audience, not for me. He is still humble the way he was years ago and hasn't changed at all."
The comedian's show will have Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty and Sara Ali Khan as the first guests. This time, we have Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, Rochelle Maria Rao and Kiku Sharda. Stay tuned to BL for more scoops and updates!
