It's not even been 24 hours since the trailer of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has hit the net. And it has become the talk of the town already. Sonam Kapoor is playing a lesbian girl in the movie and the internet has been hailing the actress for her brave move. In the trailer, we only get a teasing glimpse of Kapoor's sexuality and her girlfriend. And those who have seen the trailer are surely eager to know who will be playing Kapoor's love interest in the movie. BollywoodLife has got its hands on the name of the actress who is apparently playing the part in the movie. Well, the actress is quite a popular name in the South Indian film industry. Any guesses?
Well, let us reveal it to you without building up any further suspense. Regina Cassandra is the girl who will be seen as Kapoor's on-screen girlfriend. In February, reports of Cassandra bagging the movie came out. She was reportedly playing a prominent role and if a little birdie is to be believed, the role is of Kapoor's partner. Interestingly, the beautiful girl was also a part of Tollywood's first movie on homosexuality, Awe. The movie released in 2018 and was a success at the box office. It dealt with homosexual relationships and sex reassignment surgeries, however, Cassandra played a straight character in the flick. In ELKDT, Regina plays Kuku, who will apparently fall in love with Sweety (Sonam Kapoor), a source reveals.
