Katrina Kaif Opens Up About Her Character In Zero Being Inspired From Her Real Life

Katrina Kaif‘s performance in Zero is one her best till date. Zero, which released on 21st December, saw Katrina play the role of Babita Kumari, an alcoholic Bollywood actress and the song, Heer Badnaam also gave us a glimpse into her character. Since then, there have been speculations that her breakup in the film is inspired by her real-life break up with Ranbir Kapoor. Abhay Deol, who plays her boyfriend in the film, is named Aditya Kapoor, which further triggered the rumours. Katrina finally decided to open up about it in an interview with Film Companion.

Katrina said:

I knew that people are gonna try and connect the dots but I also knew that when they see the film they can’t do that because the pitch of that character is so different. The pitch of that character is not me. That’s not me. That’s not my behaviour. To me, the way she’s (Babita) talking (in the film), is outlandish as a person that I am.

Now that Katrina herself has clarified on this, we hope all the rumours are put to rest. Also tell us, what do you have to say about her performance in Zero.
