While it s still unclear if our favourite Avengers will survive the events of Avengers: Endgame, especially Iron Man and Captain America, Marvel fans have been asked to prepare to spread their arms to greet newer Marvel superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Over the past few years, we said hello to Black Panther, a younger Spider-Man and we re soon going to be welcoming Captain Marvel who will join Avengers: Endgame. And it seems like those are not the only superheroes we re going to be pinning up posters of in our rooms.
According to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, Marvel fans will be treated to newer superheroes in the phase 4 of MCU. In a recent interview with Variety and iHeart Radio, the Marvel chief confirmed that new superheroes will enter the cinematic universe after the release of Avengers: Endgame.
The only thing we've officially, officially announced after Avengers: Endgame is the Spider-Man movie that we're working on now, Spider-Man: Far From Home. There are other things in development, there are other filmmakers [including The Eternals director Chloe Zhao and Black Widow director Cate Shortland] who are working on things in development. But when and where and how and why we haven't discussed yet. But it is fair to say that we will continue making films after Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home, Feige said.
We re already jumping with excitement!
Reports have been doing the rounds suggesting what could Marvel Studios future could look like. As per reports, Marvel Studios has roped in Cate Shortland to direct the Black Widow movie. The script is written by Jac Schaeffer. Another project in making is The Eternals. The studio has hired Chloe Zhao.
It is also said that a movie featuring Shang-Chi is in works. If all things work in Marvel s favour, the movie would be the first superhero flick featuring an Asian lead in the lead.
