BARC Report, Week 51, 2018: Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 sees a huge jump; Naagin 3 retains top spot

The statistics for the final weeks of 2018 are here. BARC evaluates how your favourite shows are faring every week and this time there is great news for all fans of Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2. The show has climbed up on the charts to secure the seventh spot in the urban segment. This is huge! STAR Bharat's RadhaKrishn has seen a huge drop, which is disappointing. Taraak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah rose to the third place. Sony TV's Indian Idol became the highest rated non-fiction show on Indian TV. Here is a more detailed look...

Top 10 shows (Urban)

Naagin 3 retained its first place with a huge margin. It got 8.4 million impressions viewership followed by Kundali Bhagya at 7.3 million impressions. On the third spot, we have Sony SAB's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that has got 6.7 million impressions viewership followed by Kullfi Kumar Bajewala (6.6 million). Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha's Kumkum Bhagya took the fifth place. In viewership, it was just slightly below Kullfi, which is now seeing a very emotional track. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was on the sixth place with 6.3 million impressions viewership. Now, comes the most interesting part. Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 saw a jump in four places. The show was just behind YRKHH in terms of numbers. It got 6.3 million impressions viewership. Sony Entertainment Television's Indian Idol was the highest rated non-fiction show. Zee TV's new hit show Tujhse Hai Raabta was on the ninth place. It got 5.9 million impressions viewership. We are seeing the reunion of Harman (Vivian Dsena) and Soumya (Rubina Dilaik) on Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. It got 5.6 million impressions viewership.

Top 10 shows (Urban + Rural)

The No.1 show was Zee Anmol's Kumkum Bhagya with 15 million impressions viewership. Colors' Naagin 3 took the second spot with 13 million impressions. It was followed by Kundali Bhagya (11.4) and Kumkum Bhagya (10.6). Mythological shows have a good viewership and well-made ones fare really well. STAR Bharat's RadhaKrishn was on the fifth spot with 10.4 million impressions viewership. Tujhse Hai Raabta (10.2 million) and Nimki Mukhiya (9.5 million) took the sixth and seventh place respectively. Mohit Malik and Aakriti Sharma's Kullfi Kumar Bajewala was on the eight place with 9.3 million impressions respectively. On a more positive note, Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 has seen a growth in rural areas too. It was on the ninth place with Ramayan finishing the list.

Star Plus, Zee TV, Colors, Sony Entertainment Television, STAR Bharat,

SONY SAB, STAR Utsav, Sony PAL, Zee Anmol and &TV.

Bigg Boss 12 was also in the top 20 as was Nazar and Qayamat Ki Raat. Sunil Grover's Kanpur Wale Khurana's managed same ratings as Nazar. Stay tuned to BL for more updates!
