As the fever around Simmba gripped the cinema world, the makers of this Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan-starrer faced a huge jolt right on the first day of release. The film got leaked online on the popular notorious pirate site TamilRockers within few hours of release. The film released today worldwide and had a huge opening in cinema halls and in a few hours, the pirated copy of the film was up on the site.
TamilRockers has been a thorn in the skin for many film industries down south and has been leaking films online right on the first day of their release. And with Simmba getting leaked online, makers of the film are now working closely with the Anti-Piracy unit to get the copies pulled down. This Rohit Shetty directorial is the first film to be leaked by this notorious site in Bollywood. The makers now plan to take stringent action against the pirate sites who plan to put up the pirated copy of the film.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba is the official Hindi remake of Temper which is a Telugu film starring Jr NTR. Simmba is produced by Karan Johar and stars Sara Ali Khan as the leading lady. The film has been receiving terrific response from all around and is being called a massy entertainer. It also marks the first-time association of Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty.
