Petta Trailer: Rajinikanth's swag will remind you of the actor's 90's avatar; Nawaz-Vijay Sethupathi also leave a mark

Petta trailer is finally out! The film, which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj features a great line-up of actors like superstar Rajinikanth, Simran Bagga, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The trailer is driven by Rajinikanth who plays the role of a gangster cum cool college warden. The actor is looking fresh and his chemistry with Simran is pleasing for the eyes. We absolutely loved his styling with the cool glares, muffler and jackets. The trailer introduces us to college life in what looks like a hill station. Petta has been shot in North India in Uttarakhand. However, things go murky and Rajinikanth shows us his badass avatar.

For Bollywood buffs, the highlight is the presence of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actor makes his mark from scene one where he has a small dialogue. His styling with the lungi, thick glasses and vintage printed shirts is also very good. Language clearly does not seem to be a barrier for Nawaz. His character in the film is that of a North Indian guy though, Singaar Singh. He is the bad guy in the film. Vijay Sethupathi's jovial presence lights up the trailer but much is not revealed about his role.

Nawazuddin has shared a snap of his rehearsing his lines in August 2018. He said he was delighted to be part of Rajinikanth's 165th film. After Akshay Kumar, he is the noted Bollywood actor in recent times to be seen with the superstar. The film is releasing on January 10, 2019. Stay tuned to BL for more updates!
