Simmba box office collection day 9: Ranveer Singh's film mints Rs 13.32 cr on Saturday; beats Race 3 by grossing 173.15 crore

Ranveer Singh's Simmba is absolutely unstoppable at the box office. The film has become the eighth 100 crore plus film for blockbuster filmmaker Rohit Shetty and Ranveer's fourth after Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. The film did fabulously well on the second weekend making Rs 13.32 crore on Saturday at the Indian box office. Sunday i.e. today numbers are expected to be even better and bigger. Simmba, a cop action entertainer is wowing the aam junta who are loving Singh's whistle-worthy performance. Clearly, 2018 has been a great year for the hunk who gave a monstrously brilliant performance in Padmaavat and was superb in Simmba too. It is now the fourth highest-grossing film of the year after Sanju, Padmaavat and 2.0. It is also the second hit for debutante Sara Ali Khan. People have loved the action, Ajay Devgn's cameo and strong message that the story sends out to the movie-goers.

Simmba is the first collaboration between Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh. The film has proved that a masala entertainer that's well-made has the capacity to rule the ticket windows. In fact, strong content-driven films had ruled all through 2018 but it was KGF and Simmba that proved that mass rules and how!
